Wānaka pre wedding

Yen and Mika came all the way from Taiwan to explore New Zealand in a campervan with their friends. Along the way, they decided to take some pre-wedding photos at the stunning Lake Wānaka—a spot famous for its gorgeous views and peaceful vibe. Like any mountain location, the weather had its own plans. We originally scheduled the shoot for sunset, but the forecast had other ideas. After a quick change of plans, we decided to go for a sunrise session the next morning instead, and honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better. That morning, we were treated to the most magical sunrise. The sky shifted from soft pinks to vibrant blues, and the lake sparkled as the sun climbed higher. The light was just perfect, warming us as we soaked in the incredible scenery. As the wind picked up, we moved to another spot with epic mountain views to make the most of the breeze. Mika’s dress flowed beautifully in the wind, adding movement and drama to the photos. It was one of those moments where everything came together perfectly—the landscape, the light, and their connection. These photos are a piece of Yen and Mika’s amazing adventure in New Zealand. Being part of their journey was such an honor, and I’m so excited that these memories will be with them forever.
