A surprise sunset proposal

ZW and Jex were on a campervan tour of NZ all the way from Singapore when ZW contacted me to ask if would be able to meet them in Lake Tekapo near sunset so he could pop the question to his beautiful girlfriend Jex. He was so nervous but had planned the surprise to perfection. The sun was shining, the lake was glassy and the lupins were starting to bloom. He distracted Jex with some classic tourist photos whilst he prepared his next move. When Jex turned round he had laid a map of Lake Tekapo down covered in lights in the shape of the word “MARRY” as well as a light up arrow pointing up to him. In Jex’s own words “he looked like he was demanding me to marry him, like a kidnapper” so of course she said YES!!! After the excitement of the proposal had subsided we headed down to the lake and surrounds for some gorgeous sunset photos set amongst the mountains and lupins. Congratulations to these two gorgeous humans.
